History
The firm that would become Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home started business in 1855. Much has changed
in all walks of life since the founding of W.T. Henry-Cabinet & Coffin Maker a century and a half ago.
Our history is a story that causes us to pause and reflect on our one goal, to provide compassionate
quality care to the families of this area.
We invite you to see our history through a few pictures from our archives. Click on any of the pictures
