Carriee Renee Bowles

Carriee Reneé Bowles, 48, wife of Gayle Wayne Bowles, passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington.

A Nicholas County native born September 14, 1975, she was a 1993 graduate of Nicholas County High School, a co-owner of G and C Communications and a member of Richland Baptist Church. Carriee loved spending time with her kids & grandkids, watching crime shows and scratching lottery tickets.

Also left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jordan Rae (Ryley) Pierson of Lexington & Tanna Kash Belle Bowles (Bill McCoy) of Paris; her parents, Phillip Lee (Jacqueline) Bowles of Carlisle & Denise Whitson (Jim) Baber of Cynthiana; her mother-in-law, Betty Bowles of Carlisle; her brother-in-law, Robert (Stacey) Bowles of Nicholasville; 9 grandchildren: Aiden, Leland, Hudson, Raelynne, Xzavier, Jeremy, Karmaa, Kehlani & Tizleigh; a niece, Kayla (Cameron) Webster of Lexington; and a special friend, Nina Denny of Georgetown.

She was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Donald Bowles, and her brother-in-law, Rennick Bowles.

Services will be 1:30 P.M. Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home with burial to follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 3:00 P.M. Monday.
