Diana Lee Ritchie Jackson, 75, wife of 61 years to Lloyd David Jackson, passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at her home in Carlisle.
Born May 21, 1948 in Nicholas County to the late William Cletus & Ruby Hedges Ritchie, she attended Nicholas County High School, was a graduate of Kaufman Beauty School in Lexington, partnered in running the local Dairy Queen for many years and was of the Christian faith. Her family is confident that she is beautifying her clients and catching up on all the gossip in Heaven. She enjoyed needlework, cooking, baking and shopping with stops at Cracker Barrel afterwards. Totally devoted to her family, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Additional survivors include 2 daughters, Daviana (Darrin) Green and Dana (Tim) Crump, both of Carlisle; a sister, Patsy (Joe) Blount, of Timber Pines, Florida; 5 grandchildren: Darah (Codie) Dunn, Deanna (Corey) Gray, Delaney (Charleston “Charby”) Pope, Shane Crump & Timmy Crump; and 6 great-grandchildren: Owen Dunn, Kora & Myra Gray, Bentley & Jaxon Crump and Baby Pope on the way, along with several nieces & nephews.
Also preceding her in death was a brother, Harmon Ritchie.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. Tuesday until the time of service.
