Anna Lee Hollar Finch, 75, widow of Earl "Sam" Finch, Jr., passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at her home.

She was born December 4, 1936 in Nicholas County to the late James Luther & Opal McKenzie Hollar, was a retired employee of the Nicholas County Hospital and member of Paris Marie Chapter #167 O.E.S.

She is survived by 3 sons: Doug (Susan) Finch, of Cullman, Alabama, Mike Finch, of Corbin, and Darrell Finch of Carlisle, A sister: Mary Louise Hill, of Carlisle, 3 grandchildren: Earl, James (Tonya) & Dylan Finch, of Cullman, Alabama, 2 great-grandchildren: Natalie & Kyleigh Finch, 3 step-grandchildren: Marilyn Griffith, Joe Kimberlin & Ronda Mills, 8 step-great grandchildren: Josh & Kayla Griffith, Caiya, Cole & Connor Kimberlin, and Breanna, Chase & Lukas Mills, one step-great-great granddaughter, Maddison Hope Griffith.

She was also preceded in death by 2 granddaughters, Analese & Mahalla Finch, and a daughter-in-law, Mary R. Finch.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. James Gaunce and Rev. Howard Livingood with burial following in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday with O.E.S. service at 7:00 P.M.

Dena L Combs .May God bless you at this time of sorrow. Anna Lee and I started to school in the first grade at Headquarters and graduated from Nicholas Co.High School.We will miss her so much at our class Reunions.

Darlene Hunt I remember Anna Lee ,myself , Philip , Darrell and Pammie going to Olive Garden in Lexington , we had such a good time that night . We ate at Anna Lees with Darrell at Christmas , she had a Cheese cake that she got from QVC , it was yummy . Anna Lee was a sweet lady and I will miss her a lot . The family is in my prayers and thoughts .
