Jackie Flora, 49, died Tuesday August 22, 2006 at University of Kentucky Medical Center. He was a native of Nicholas Co. born November 8, 1956 to the late Milton & Josephine Hogg Flora, was a farmer and attended Myers Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Jackie Allen Flora, Carlisle a brother Jim Flora, Mays Lick , 3 sisters Virgilene Miller, Maysville, Helen McIntyre, Fleming Co. & Rosie Hughes, Carlisle, several nieces & nephews and many special friends. He was also preceded in death by a sister Brenda Fulton. Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday August 24 at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. Ernie Carmicle. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery. Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday
