Lisa Markwell Haire Austin, honey, I'm so very sorry that I will not be able to come in to be with you during this sad time. Your Momma was like my sister and I loved her very much! I'm not for sure what she has told you about our little escapades that we had during our childhood, but I will tell you that we had fun!! Once we went fishing at Granny Goose's pond and caught 30 something baby catfish and insisted that they be fixed for supper. We spent many summers together when we were young and stayed in some sort of trouble with Granny Goose! We were not bad...we were just mischievious! My heart is broken and I will forever more miss talking to her on the phone on Sundays! My heart and love goes out to you. I'm always here for you if you need anything or just to talk!
Rhonda Berry I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers for your family.
Whitney Lynn Frederick Shirley was a great mother, friend. She is a very nice person. Shirley was my cousin's Austin Mother.. RIP Shirley Hammonds Frederick
Mark S. Vice I was so sorry to hear of Shirley's death. Shirley was a sweet person who will be missed. I remember her first day of school when she got on the bus on East Union Road. She was so wide eyed at everything and everyone. Life was so very short for her and I know your hearts must be breaking. May God bless you with His peace and comfort you all in the hope of the Resurrection through our dear Savior Jesus.
