Scotty M. Fryman, 75, husband of Nancy Flora Fryman, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

A native of Bourbon Co., he was born June 10, 1938 to the late John M. & Lucille Shaw Fryman and was a member of Herrington United Methodist Church. A long time auto dealer, Scotty was the former owner of Fryman’s Auto Sales and a salesman for both Cole Ford and later Dutch’s Ford in Mt. Sterling.

Other survivors are a son Tony (Linda) Fryman, 2 grandchildren Tony (Becky) Fryman, Jr. & Tabitha (Sam) Reid, Carlisle and 4 great-grandchildren Hagan & Gavin Fryman and Maddox & Finley Reid.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Jimmy Caswell. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Thursday.

I am so glad I got to meet Scotty and get to know him, he was a very nice man and I know he will be missed greatly by his family and all his friends.
