Wavel Clay Fryman, 81, husband of Barbara Duncan Fryman, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014 at the Care Center at Kenton Pointe in Maysville.
Born March 7, 1933 in Nicholas County to the late Nelson Clay & Lorene Scott Hamm Fryman, he was a U.S. Army veteran, a retired foreman for the Kentucky State Road Department in Nicholas County for many years, and a member of the Carlisle Assembly of God Church.
Also surviving him are his 2 sons: Larry (Sheila) Fryman & Phillip Fryman; 2 daughters: Nancy (Ken) Baker & Leslie (Ben) Tyree, all of Carlisle; a brother: Marvin Fryman, of Paris; 12 grandchildren: Andrew Fryman, Laura Fryman, Cianna Fryman, Katie Tyree, Shelby Tyree, Jordan Brooke Tyree, Sara Fryman Perraut, Taylor Fryman, Devyn Fryman, Dawson Fryman, Thomas Baker and Christina Baker.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Kevin Miles with burial to follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Monday.
