Carol Faye Tincher Fryman, 71, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.
Born May 11, 1943 in Carlisle, Kentucky to the late Jack & Lena Mitchell Tincher, she was a former employee of the Stamler Corporation where she was the secretary of the engineering department for many years, was a member of the Ellisville Homemakers, American Legion Post 257 Ladies Auxiliary, the Nicholas County Democratic Women and the Millersburg United Methodist Church.
Carol Faye is survived by a son: Mike Baker, of North Carolina; 4 daughters: Monica (Mike) Pryor, Angela Gonzalez, Tonya Mynear and Chelsea (Willie McCarty) Fryman, all of Carlisle; 2 brothers: Larry (June) Tincher, of Carlisle, and Bobby (Geri) Tincher, of Versailles; 4 sisters: Jean (Gene) Gilvin, of Georgetown, Martha Raye Ritchie, of Carlisle, Judy (Harry) Otte, of Paris, and Peggy (Charles Webber) Henry, of Versailles; 7 grandchildren: Jonna (Kevin) McGuire, Jessica Webb, Christian George, Joshua Mynear, Aaron Pope, Caleb Dutton and Laiden McCarty; 2 step-grandchildren: Crystal (Kenny) Staley and Tyler (Natasha) Pryor; 2 great-grandchildren: Jack Venters and Elise McGuire; and 2 step-great grandchildren: Oliver Pryor and Will Staley.
Also preceding her in death were a brother, Jackie Tincher, a sister, Anna Dell Gaunce, and a granddaughter, Whitney Nicole Lane.
Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, December 5, 2014 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Steve Smith with burial to follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Thursday with American Legion Auxiliary services at 7:30 p.m.
