I had the privilege of volunteering with Betty at the Neal Welcome Center, and also knew her as a member of the Carlisle United Methodist Church. Betty was a lovely, generous and gracious lady. She worked tirelessly in any task for which she volunteered. I know she made many contributions anonymously and asked nothing in return. As long as she was able to do so, she helped with the Community Thanksgiving Dinner, making delicious dressing balls. My prayers are for her family and friends at this difficult time. May God wrap you in His loving arms and give you happy, precious memories to ease your grief. Go rest high on that mountain, Betty; your work on earth is done!
