Adalene Ring Wilson, 88, widow of Woodrow Wilson, died Monday, October 6, 2008 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.

She was born March 28, 1920 in Nicholas Co. to the late Taylor & Della Mae Florence Ring and was a member of the Carlisle United Methodist Church.

Survivors include 1 brother, Woodie (Margaret) Ring, and 3 sisters, Callie Alexander, Anita Clark and Sophie Mynear, all of Carlisle, several nieces and nephews, and special friends, Mark and Cindy Hughes, of Carlisle.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday in the Carlisle Cemetery Chapel by Rev. Jason Carpintero with burial to follow.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital or Carlisle United Methodist Church.
