Amy Louise Fitzwater, 46, of Nicholas County, passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2024 at her home.

Born August 14, 1977 in Harrison County to the late Hillard B. & Eva Jean Hawkins Fitzwater, she was a 1995 graduate of Harrison County High School, worked for many years as a machine operator at several local factories, including KT's, Bullard, Sekri and 3-Star, and attended Indian Creek Christian Church. Amy loved baseball, softball, music and flowers.

Surviving are her longtime partner, Iber Gonzalez of Nicholas County; a daughter, Sadie Pack of Georgetown; 4 brothers: Randall Fitzwater of Virginia, Roy Kiskaden of Mt. Sterling and Phillip & Michael Kiskaden of Carlisle; 5 sisters: Lavona Fitzwater of Frankfort, Ida Lee Cornish of Lawrenceburg, Billy Jo Fitzwater of Winchester, Alice L. Clifford of Cynthiana & Jeanie Smith of Georgetown; a special cousin and friend, Irvin Hawkins; a special friend, Amanda Bussell; and several nieces, nephews & cousins.

Also preceding her in death were a son, Evan Vance Alviso Fitzwater; a brother, H.B. Fitzwater, Jr.; and a sister, Patricia Kearns.

A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held 1:00-3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 25th at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home with a Memorial Service by Bro. Johnathan Allison at 3:00 P.M.
