Billy Joe Garrett, 43, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2012 at his home.

A Nicholas County native, he was born in Paris, Kentucky on July 15, 1968, was devoted life-long employee of the family business, Garrett's Furniture, and attended the Carlisle Christian Church. Billy Joe greatly enjoyed spending time with his close friends- whether it was riding motorcycles, fixing up cars, playing pool or just hanging out together.

He is survived by his father- Paul Douglas & Jacqueline Garrett, his grandmother- Mary Elizabeth "Libby" Garrett, brother- Anthony Wayne Hedrick, step-sister- Ashton Markland, special aunt- Jo Lynn Garrett and a special friend- Cindy Harris Biddle.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joredda Todd McDonald Garrett.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday March 13, 2012 at the Carlisle Christian Church by Rev. Steve Smith and Bro. Jimmy Caswell with burial following in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Monday at the church.

Memorial contribution suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass or Carlisle Christian Church.
