Billy Wayne Prather, 60, husband of Linda Florence Prather, died Thursday, January 7, 2010, at Kindred Hospital in Louisville.

He was born February 6, 1949 in Fayette County and was a member of the Carlisle Assembly of God Church.

Also surviving are his father, Billy Prather, a son, Corey Prather, a daughter, Lucinda (Donnie) Humphries, 2 sisters, Patty Black and Mona Prather, all of Carlisle, a brother, Dale Prather, Versailles, and 2 grandchildren, Jurney & Raven Humphries.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Bertie Elizabeth McQueen Prather.

Services will be 5:00 P.M. Sunday at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Darrell Sexton. Cremation will follow the services.

Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. Sunday until the time of services.
