Bobby Allen Buckler, 70, husband of Betty Soard Buckler, died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital.

He was born June 17, 1938 in Scott County, KY to the late Russell and Bertha Vermillion Buckler, was a former groomsman with Claiborne Farm and a member of the Newtown Christian Church.

Survivors also include his step-son, Bennie Joe Stith, Louisville, 2 brothers, James Buckler, Millersburg, and Stanley Buckler, Cynthiana, and 2 sisters, Mary Jane Buckler and Juanita Buckler, Paris.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Pagie.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Sandy Sanders. Burial will follow in the Paris Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday.
