Catherine Allison Hollar, 97, widow of Hisel R. Hollar, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.

She was born February 9, 1915 in Nicholas Co. to the late Charles & Addie Green Allison, was a retired employee of Allison's Catering and was a member of Saltwell United Methodist Church.

Survivors include 2 sons, Joe Allen (Carmie) Hollar, Millersburg, Rudy (Kanna) Hollar, Flemingsburg, a daughter, Brenda Ann Hunt, Cynthiana, 3 grandchildren, Tony Hunt, Bridgett Hunt & Bradley Hollar, 4 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter Carolyn Denise Hollar, 3 brothers, Charles "Herb", Bill & Lovell "Peanuts" Allison, and 3 sisters Fern Alexander, Clara Curd & Margaret Kiser.

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday in the Saltwell Cemetery by Bro. James Gaunce.

Casketbearers will be Dennis Allison, Billy "Hammer" Allison, Bradley Hollar, Gary Hollar, Layne Hollar and Tony Hunt.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Saltwell United Methodist Church.
