Charlette H. Standiford, 82, wife of James A. Standiford, Jr., passed away Monday, April 21, 2014 at her home.

She was born February 13, 1932 in Robertson County to the late Joe Henry & Leola Manning Henson, was a devoted homemaker, former member of the Hutchison Homemakers in Bourbon County and member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church.

Charlette dedicated her life to her husband of 61 years and her two sons: Larry J. (Elaine) Standiford, of Richmond, and Stephen D. (Martha) Standiford, of Paris. She is also survived by a brother: Bobby (Ann) Gene Henson, and a sister, Mary Jo Henson, both of Mt. Olivet; 5 grandchildren: L.J. Standiford, Kimberly (Matt) Hoskins, Andrew Standiford, William Standiford and Adam (Amanda) Standiford; 2 great-grandchildren: Alex & Jacob Hoskins; several nephews and a niece.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Donald Mason Henson.

Services will be 12:00 Noon Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Sam Chanslor. Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of service.
