Mary Charlotte Hardin, 65, wife of Paul Allen Hardin, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital.

A native of Nicholas County, Charlotte was born December 8, 1948, a 1967 graduate of Nicholas Co. High School and retired from the Kentucky Department for Human Resources. She was a member of the Carlisle Christian Church where she participated in the Prayer Shawl ministry and acted as longtime interpreter for the deaf.

She was preceded in death by her father William A. Stacy and her mother Rachel Allen Clay Mastin.

Other survivors are a son, Paul Allen (Tammy) Hardin, Flemingsburg , a daughter, Jennifer Hardin Hayes, Carlisle, and 3 grandchildren Brittany Kay Hardin, Alexis Nicole Hardin and Randy Lee Hayes, Jr.

Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at the Carlisle Christian Church with Bro. Tony Smith officiating. Inunrment will be in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Carlisle Christian Church Prayer Shawl Ministry or Hospice of the Bluegrass.

Visitation will be from noon until the time of service on Tuesday.
