Clyda Mae Crawford Bretz, 96, widow of Arthur Bretz & Mason Crawford, died Sunday, November 19, 2006 at St. Joseph Hosptial-East.

She was born February 12, 1910 in Nicholas Co. to the late Bruce & Laura Cameron Crawford and was a member of the Pleasant Valley Church of God.

Survivors include 3 sons, Gilby Crawford, Flemingsburg, Tommy Crawford & Darrell Faulconer, Carlisle, 3 daughters, Hattie Prather & Darlene Massaro, Lexington & Peggy Sharon, Carlisle, a step-daughter, Ruby Letcher, Carlisle, 22 grandchildren, and several great & great-great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Eula Mitchell, 2 step-sons, Herman & Chester Bretz and a daughter-in-law, Jean Crawford.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. Steve Smith. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 P.M. Monday.
