Connie Lee Snapp Howard, 70, wife of Phillip Howard, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Baptist Health-Lexington.

A native of Nicholas County, Connie was born September 7, 1945 to the late Bernis & Patricia Richards Snapp, was longtime operator of The Video Shack, a former member of the Nicholas County Lions Club and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, was a devoted mother, grandmother and animal lover, and a member of the Methodist faith. Also left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tina (Arnold) Payne; her step-mother, Peggy Snapp; 2 brothers, Christopher (Angie) Snapp and Johnnie (Angie) Snapp; a sister, Cathy (Mike) Bledsoe; 2 granddaughters, Samantha & Sydney Payne; special friends, T.A. Gilliam, Hope Burton, Celena Hensley and Jordan Sheltman, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by an infant brother, John Leonard Snapp.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Steve Smith, Bro. John Smith and Bro. Jerry Watkins.  Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday.
