David Wayne Lininger, 69, husband of Mary Lou Bowles Lininger, died Tuesday, October 28,2008 at the Johnson Mathers Nursing Home.

He was born August 14, 1939 in Maryville, Ohio to the late C. Page and Helen Louise Dickey Lininger and was a retired bus driver for the Clark County School System, a retired employee of Rockwell and a member of the Carlisle Mountain Assembly Church.

Survivors include his daughter, Lori Lee (Kevin) Parrish, Lexington, a step-son, James (Shawna) Stone, Carlisle, 3 brothers, Amos Lininger, Cleon Lininger and Ralph Lininger, Ohio, and 4 sisters, Carol Davis, Marty Frazier, Louise Hanefeld and Dorothy Kitchen, Ohio, and 3 grandsons.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 31, 2008 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Bro. Bobby Stone and Bro. Roy Stacy. Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Thursday.
