Dulcene Rose Souther, 65, of Marion, North Carolina, formerly of Carlisle, passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2014.

She was born August 25, 1948 in Menifee Co. to the late James & Irene Helton Rose, was a former employee of Jockey International and Garrett's Restaurant and was a member of the Baptist church.

Survivors include her children: Richard (Shannon) Rose, of Lexington, and Teresa (Jack) White, of Springfield, Ohio; 8 grandchildren: Brandon, Alex, Samantha, John Robert, Rondal Jr., Robert Lee, Emily and Brooklyn; 3 great-grandchildren: Eva, Meaghan and Austen; 10 step-great grandchildren and several cousins.

Services will be conducted 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 28 in the Carlisle Cemetery by Rev. Micah Spicer with burial to follow.
