Eleanor Logan George, 85, a lifelong resident of Carlisle, widow of Marion George, died Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Johnson-Mathers N.H.

She was born May 7, 1923 and was the last surviving child of the late Rollie and Melinda Scott Logan She was a homemaker and antiques dealer and was a member of Carlisle Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a son Marion Ronald (Barbara) George, Bardstown, a granddaughter, Cheryl Corum, San Clemente, CA, a grandson, Scott George, Bardstown, 4 great-grandchildren, 2 step great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.

She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Rebecca George Jesse and brothers & sisters, Virginia Payne, Edwin & George Logan & Helen Hunt.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. Darrell Sexton. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Monday.
