Evelyn Wells Anderson, 91, widow of Marion Anderson, died Sunday June 10, 2007 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.

She was born April 12, 1916 in Robertson Co. to the late Pete Burns Miller & Hester McConnell Miller, was a retired employee of Jockey International , was a member of Blue Licks Christian Church and was a 50 year member of Marie Chapter O.E.S.

Survivors include a son, Lyle B. (Wisby) Anderson, Carlisle, a daughter, Marion Grace (Robert) Taylor, Orlando, Florida, 2 brothers, Thelbert & Dewey Miller, Mt. Olivet, 6 grandchildren, Tamila Humphries, Lyle Anderson, Jr., Debora Ranew, Robert Ray Taylor, Michael Owen Taylor & Holly Michelle Elmore, 13 great-grandchildren, Drew & Lakyn Jolly, Tessa Humphries, Brett Anderson, Abaigil & Bryce Felton, Steven & Amanda Ranew, Courtney, Matthew, Mallory & Chelsea Taylor & Taylor Elmore and a great-great grandson Dayson Renden.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter Wanda Lynn Anderson.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. Sam Chanslor and Rev. James Gaunce. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Wednesday.
