Obituary

Felicia Gail Joseph, 36, passed away on September 29, 2026, leaving behind a life that was far too short and a family who loved her deeply.

Felicia had a large, generous heart and a strong will that carried her through some of life's hardest seasons. Her journey was not always easy, but she possessed a remarkable fighting spirit. She faced difficult circumstances, fought through the hardest parts, and grew into a strong, capable woman who refused to give up.

She was a loving mother to her three children, Braxton, 18, and three-year-old twins, Xzavion and Xzavia. Being a mother was a tremendous part of who Felicia was. With her strength, determination, and love, she somehow made keeping up with three-year-old twins look easy.

Felicia enjoyed tattoos, cooking, and spending time with the people she loved. She had a tenacity about her — a determination to keep moving forward even when life was difficult. She fought, she persevered, and she kept going.

Her life was taken far too soon. There are no words that can adequately express the loss of a daughter, sister, mother, and loved one. What remains is the love she gave, the memories she created, and the mark she left on the people fortunate enough to know her.

Felicia will be remembered for her loving heart, her strength, her determination, and especially for the fierce love she had for her children.

Surviving are 3 children: Braxton Jonas Withrow and Xzavion & Xzavia Joseph; her mother, Janet Martin; 3 sisters: Davida (Chip) Fay, Anita Watkins and Charita Watkins; her paternal grandparents, Elijah & Alydeen Joseph; her maternal grandmother, Mary Martin; a special friend, Angel Franco; several nieces & nephews; and many good friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, DeWayne Joseph; her maternal grandfather, Kenneth Martin; and 2 brothers, Marvin Jonas Watkins and Brandon Joseph.

Though her time with us was far too short, her fight, her love, and her spirit will live on in the lives of her children and everyone who loved her.

Rest peacefully, Felicia. You fought hard. You loved deeply. You were here — and you mattered.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life for Felicia will be held at 1:00p.m. this Sunday, October 4 (her birthday) at 2101 Lower Jackstown Road, Carlisle, KY 40311.
