Frances Taylor Broderick, 91, widow of Robert Lee Broderick, died Monday, October 6, 2008 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.

She was born August 26, 1917 in Nicholas County to the late Charles M. & Edith McDonald Taylor and was a member of the Barterville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include 2 grandchildren, Sherri Corley, Graniteville, SC, and Norman Broderick, Lexington, 1 great granddaughter, Jessica Corley, a daughter-in-law, Betty Bernardi and her husband, Ray Bernardi, Lexington, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her son, Norman Broderick.

Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Troy Miller, Rev. Don Riggs and Rev. James Gaunce. Burial will follow in the Barterville Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 1:00 PM Thursday.
