Frances Kerr Henry Buntin, 91, widow of Wilbur R. Buntin, died on October 9th in Lexington.

Frances was born June 22, 1924 to the late Frank C. & Hazel Kerr Henry of Carlisle. She was a 1942 graduate of Carlisle High School and a 1946 graduate of the Brenau College in Georgia, where she was a music major and an active member of Delta Delta Delta.  She was a member of the South Elkhorn Christian Church.

Frances is survived by her son, Robert Henry Buntin and Elizabeth Duff; her daughter, Rebecca Buntin (Stephen) Carter; her granddaughter, Kerr Ann Carter, of Charleston, SC, and her grandson, Benjamin Buntin Carter, of Miami, FL.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Michael Swartzentruber. Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:30 P.M. Tuesday until the time of service.
