Gladys Ritchie, 85, beloved mother and grandmother and widow of John Ritchie, died Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at her home in Ewing.

She was born March 30, 1922 in Nicholas Co. to the late Nettie Mae Mynear and was a life long member of Rose Hill United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Almeda Ruth Hollar, Ewing, a sister Naomi Small, Cynthiana, 3 grandchildren, Billy M. (Melissa) Hollar, Tonya (David) Tackett & Beth Hollar and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Billy W. Hollar and a sister Ruthie Mae Fryman.

Services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. James Gaunce. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Thursday.
