Harold Wayne Dale, 76, husband of 55 years to the late Edith Holland Dale, passed away Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

Born September 27, 1938 in Nicholas County, he was the son of the late Ollie R. & Estelle Cundiff Dale, was a retired mechanic for Jockey International, an Honorable Kentucky Colonel, and devoted member of the East Union Christian Church.

Harold Wayne is survived by his son, Randall (Belinda) Dale, of Carlisle, his 2 grandchildren, Courtney Lynn (Geramie) Ingram, of Mt. Sterling, and Philip Cameron Dale, of Hazard, and his beloved cat, Thomas.

Also preceding him in death was a son, Patrick Wayne Dale.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 1, 2015 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Pastor Carma Brown. Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Wednesday.
