Harold Don Smart, 74, husband of Mary Vastine Smart, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at his home.

Born December 24, 1940 in Nicholas County, Don was a son of the late Millard & Ruby George Smart and was a retired employee of Ramset in Paris.

Other survivors include his son: Donnie (Kristie) Smart, of Cynthiana; 3 daughters: Kathy Petitt, Donnita Berry & Tracey Jones, all of Carlisle; a brother: Gary Smart, of Florence; a sister: Joyce Mahler, of Forest Park, Ohio; 7 grandchildren: Joshua Wade, Justin Petitt, Ashli Craddock, Kyleigh Brooks, Erin Smart, Kayla (Justin Rawlings) Berry and Jamie Berry; and 4 great-grandchildren: Tylen Rawlings, Kason & Sidney Sexton and Taryn Brooks.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Faulkner.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Monday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. Rick Snyder with burial to follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon Monday until the time of services.
