Hunter Gene "Possum" Wells, infant son of Bobby, Jr. & Kimberly Ann McCarty Wells, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky.

He was born September 12, 2011 in Morehead, Kentucky.

He is also survived by 2 brothers, Dallas Ray Anderson, of Sherburne, and Paul Lewis Wells, of Salt Lick; maternal grandfather- Larry David (Katherine) McCarty, of Ewing; paternal grandparents- Bobby (Virginia) Wells, Sr., of Owingsville, and Marilyn Kay (Roscoe) Howard, of Carlisle; aunts and uncles, Gwendolyn (Larry) Morris and Kevin Wells of Nicholas County, Jennifer Anderson, Laura McCarty and Joshua McCarty, of Fleming County, and Rebecca (Pete) Mahon and John (Whitney) Wells, of Bath County, as well as several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Donna Sue Mitchell McCarty, and an uncle, Larry David McCarty, II.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, November 25, 2011 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home with burial following in the Pleasant Valley Community Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the time of services.
