James Rennick Bowles, 42, of Cynthiana, son of Donald & Betty Gaunce Bowles, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012 at UK-Good Samaritan Hospital.

He was born February 27, 1970 in Harrison County.

Rennick was a 1988 graduate of Harrison County High School, worked for many years managing restaurants, was a member of the Lexington Choir and the Richland Baptist Church.

Other survivors include 2 brothers: Gayle (Carriee) Bowles & Robert (Kimberly) Bowles, of Cynthiana, 4 nieces: Jordan & Tanna Bowles, Kayla Bowles and Brittany Woodford, 1 nephew: Brandon Woodford, and 2 great-nephews: Xzavier & Jeremy Isaac Sumpter, as well as several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Sue Bowles.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Richard Kendall with burial following in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Monday.
