Jamie Carol Kenney Baber, 38, wife of John A. Baber, died Saturday, June 27, 2009.

A Nicholas County native, she was born March 8, 1971, was a manager at Jerry's Restaurant in Paris and a member of the Headquarters United Methodist Church. Jamie was also a 1989 graduate of Nicholas County High School and an avid reader.

Other survivors include her father, J.R. Kenney, Carlisle, her children, Kelsey Lynn Michelle Kenney, William Ashly Clay Baber and Colin Noah Cooper Baber, all of Paris, a sister, Debbie Nichols, 4 brothers, Terry (Janet) Kenney, Jackie (Tina) Kenney, Chris Kenney, and Scott (Barbie) Kenney, all of Carlisle, mother and father-in-law, Charlotte and Floyd Baber, Jr., Paris, dear close friend, Delores Lewis, Toledo, OH, and special friends, Jeremy & Shuran Keesy, Cynthiana, Crissy Stevens and Leann Reed, Paris, as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Carolyn Prather Kenney.

Services will be 8:00 PM Wednesday, July1, 2009 at Headquarters United Methodist Church by Rev. Brenda Routt and Rev. Howard Livingood. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until the time of the service.
