Jeanette Gibson, 83, of Ewing, widow of Elgan T. Gibson died Monday December 25, 2006 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.

She was born March 3, 1923 in Nicholas Co. to the late Roy & Leona Stanfield Letcher was a retired employee of U.S, Shoe in Flemingsburg and a member of Ewing Christian Church.

Survivors include 2 sons, Jackie Caywood, Carlisle & James T. Gibson, Lancaster, Pennsylvania, a daughter, Ann Gibson, Ewing, 2 brothers, Howard Letcher, Carlisle & Reese Letcher, Frankfort and 3 grandchildren Juliana Gail Worthington, Amanda Gibson & Kristi Kenedy.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Lee Gibson, a brother Marion Letcher and a sister Jane Becker.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H by Rev. Larry Ingram. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday.
