Jessie James Russell, 40, husband of Leslie Johnson Russell passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Bourbon Community Hospital.

He was born September 8, 1969 in Breathitt County, was an employee of Toyota Motor Manufacturing and was a member of the Carlisle Assembly of God.

Other survivors include his mother Ruby Campbell Russell, Carlisle, 2 sons, Cpl. Daniel Russell, USMC Korea, & Cory Russell, Carlisle, 3 step-daughters Taylor Reynolds, North Middletown & Kelsey Walters & Cassidy Reynolds, Carlisle, 1 brother, Leonard (Rhonda) Russell, Jr., Carlisle, 4 sisters, Gail Allen & Patty (Scott) Irvin, Carlisle, Rosie (Bobby) Lyman, Owingsville and Sherry (Hector) Masscaro, Georgia and 2 grandchildren, Hunter Cole Boggs and Ryder James Samuel Russell.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Russell, and a brother, Ricky Robinson.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday at Carlisle Assembly of God by Bro. Darrell Sexton. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the church.
