John Thomas Johnson, 73, passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at his home.

Born December 20, 1941 in Lexington, he was a son of the late Thomas & Edwina Edwards Johnson, was a graduate of Carlisle High School and Georgetown College, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a retired Safety Engineer in the insurance industry.

John is survived by his brother, David (Judy) Johnson, of The Villages, Florida, a niece, Precia (Paul) Shaw, of Greenville, South Carolina, a nephew, Chad Johnson, of Atlanta, Georgia, and his great-niece & nephew, Sydney & Carson Shaw.

It was John's wish to be cremated and not have formal funeral services.
