Johnnie Mack Kiser, 73, husband of Virginia Hawkins Kiser, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 26, 2012.

He was born on February 9, 1939 in Letcher County, was a retired employee of the City of Carlisle, a former coal miner and truck driver.

Also surviving are his 4 children: Rhoda Hicks, Margie Shumate, Mae (David) Hill & James (Ellen) Kiser, all of Paris, a step-son, Irvin K. (Olivia) Hawkins, of Carlisle, 14 grandchildren, 3 step-grandsons and a host of great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lula Bell Kiser and a son Johnnie Dale Kiser.

Services will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. James Kiser with burial following in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 6:00 P.M. Friday.
