Kash Grimes, 96, widower of Eva Tapp Grimes died Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Danville Center for Health.

He was born April 23, 1911 to the late Frank & Elizabeth Tapp Grimes. He was a life long resident of Nicholas Co., a retired employee of Jockey International and a devoted member of Carlisle Christian Church.

Survivors include a son, Bill (Lisa) Grimes, Danville, a grandson, Jeffrey Kash (Chris) Grimes, Chesapeake, Virginia, a granddaughter, Suzanne (Jim) Craft, Johnstown, Pennsylvania and 3 great-grandchildren, Matthew & Justin & Shannon Grimes.

He enjoyed the adoration and affection of numerous nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law Margaret "Tootsie" Yarnell of Cynthiana.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. Steve Smith and Rev. Don Toy. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Sunday.

Memorial contributions are suggested Carlisle Christian Church.
