Laura Mae Caywood, 86, died Saturday, September 9, 2006 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home. She was born February 7, 1920 in Nicholas County.

She was preceded in death by her parents - Harrison & Edna Lee Duncan Lowe, her husbands - Elmer Hopkins, Bill Darnall & Glenn Caywood, and a sister, Marie White.

Survivors include 2 sons, Robert & Marion Hopkins, Carlisle, a daughter, Wanda Thomas, Cincinnati,Ohio, 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 12, at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. Darrell Sexton. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Monday.
