Lois Harvey Letcher, 83, widow of her beloved husband Estill Ray Letcher, passed from this life on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Columbus Colony Rest Home for the Deaf and Blind in Columbus, Ohio.

She was born February 13, 1929 in Stuttgardt, Arkansas to the late Russell & Cassie Johnson Harvey, was a graduate of the Arkansas School for the Deaf in Little Rock and was employed by the State of Arkansas, where she worked in the Capitol until her retirement and was a member of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville.

She is survived by her brother-in-law, William "Bill" Letcher, of Jeffersonville, Indiana, 3 sisters-in-law, Marie Crawford and Faye Letcher, of Carlisle, and Mary Della Gillispie, of Bourbon County, along with a large family who loved her very much.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Gaylord Gillispie. Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 11:00 A.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
