Mary Charolottle Bowles, 70, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at Harrison Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 12, 1941 in Nicholas Co. to the late Leroy & Lillie George Bowles was a 1959 graduate of Nicholas Co. High School, a member of Carlisle Christian Church, a former employee of Carlisle Drug Co. & Nicholas Co. Hospital and was retired from Wedco Home Health.

Survivors include 2 sisters, Violet Barbee of Cowan & Connie Bowles of Carlisle, 3 special nephews, Steve (Ramona) Barbee of Cowan, Darin (Priscilla) Barbee of Ewing & Michael (Stephanie) Barbee of Saucier, Mississippi, now serving in Afghanistan, great-nephews, Dalton Barbee, Corey, Cobey & Nicholas Stuter & Zain Barbee, great-nieces Jerica, Michaela, Anna & Abygale Barbee, Natasha Glass & Samantha Briner, a great-great niece Bayleigh Briner, 2 aunts Thelma Gray & Wanda Williams, a very dear & devoted friend, Gayle Eckler and several cousins.

Service will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. Steve Smith and Rev. Gaylord Gillispie. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to Carlisle Christian Church Building Fund.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday.
