Melvin Scott "Scotty" Fugate, 36, husband of Shannon Richardson Fugate died Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at his home.

He was born October 7, 1970, was a member of the Ky. Army National Guard, Carlisle unit, was a member of theHarley-Davidson Association and attended Locust Grove Baptist Church.

Other surviors include 3 daughters, Breanna Fugate, Kristan Stacy & Emily Fugate, a son, Zachary Richardson, his mother, Dianna (John Paul) Ritchie, Carlisle, his father, Melvin Fugate, Paintsville, a brother, Shawn (Delina) Fugate, Paris, a sister, Stephanie Daniel, Alexandria, his maternal-grandparents, Ernest & Hilda Gray, Carlisle, his paternal grandmother, Maria Sawyers, Lowmansville, 3 nieces, Brittany & Angel Richardson, & Sarah Brooke Fugate, a nephew, Chad Fugate and a special-friend, Ronnie White.

Services will be 2:00 P.M. Friday December 29, 2006 at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. Chris Bailey. Burial with military honors will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Thursday.
