Mike Taylor

Michael Howard Taylor, 67, of Carlisle, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana.

Born October 6, 1959 in Nicholas County to the late Ralph & Frances Alexander Howard, he was a graduate of Nicholas County High School and ran his own electrical repair service for many years. Mike was well known for his kindness and southern hospitality. His porch was a welcoming place for all. Mike was never ashamed of his faith and was confident about his eternity. His family, dear friends and good neighbors will never forget Mike’s quick wit and ability to genuinely care about what others needed or wanted to talk about. Mike will be sorely missed.

Surviving are a brother, Pat (Stephanie) Taylor of Brooksville; two nieces, Haley & Gracie Taylor; and a nephew, Caleb Taylor.

Mike has been buried on the family lot in Carlisle Cemetery. A memorial service will be planned in the near future.
