Mildred Brunker Green, 95, widow of Ray Green died Thursday, July 3, 2008 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.

She was born December 15, 1912 in Nicholas Co. to the late James H. & Lizzie Overly Brunker, was a retired employee of Blue Grass Industries and a member of Carlisle Christian Church.

Survivors include 2 sons, Harold Mattox, Somerset, R.J. (Phyllis) Mattox, Carlisle, 4 grandchildren, Phillip (Rita) Mattox, Michael (Barbara) Mattox, Jo Anna Purcell and Tina (Arnold) Payne, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.

She was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Dwight and Jimmy Green.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. James Gaunce. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass or Saltwell United Methodist Church.

Visitation is after 5:00 P.M. Sunday.
