Naomi Florence Small, 88, of Cynthiana, widow of Reynolds Small, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Edgemont Healthcare.

Born January 3, 1926 in Nicholas County, she was a retired employee of Bluegrass Industries, a member of the Harrison Memorial Hospital Women's Auxiliary, the Lay-witness Outreach Program and the Rose Hill United Methodist Church.

She is survived by 3 sons: Bobby Small, of Lexington, Ronnie (Wanda) Small, of Carlisle, and Gary (Jean) Small, of Millersburg; 6 grandchildren: Michael Small, Cassandra Cundiff, Nea Livingood, Ronnie Small, Jr., Heath Small and Crystal Smits; 8 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her mother, Nettie Mae Mynear, and 2 sisters, Gladys Ritchie and Ruthie Mae Fryman.

Services will be 12:00 Noon Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at Mathers-Gaunce Funeral Home by Rev. Howard Livingood, Bro. Wayne Tolson and Bro. Richard Gardner. Burial will follow in the Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. Wednesday until the time of service.
