Norman G. Ritchie, 77, husband of Martha Raye Tincher Ritchie passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2012 at his home.

A native of Nicholas Co. he was born December 17, 1934, was a graduate of Carlisle High School, a U.S. Navy veteran and a retired truck driver.

Other survivors include a son, Benji Ritchie,Chicago, a daughter, Kimberly Ritchie, Florida, a step-son, Steve (Tracy) Linville, Carlisle, a step-daughter Janet (Dave) Allison, Carlisle, a brother Gayle Ritchie, Louisiana, 6 grandchildren Sam (Angel), Randall & Eric Fulton, Alexandra & Zachary Linville and Ethan Allison and 4 great-grandchildren, Cameron Bowles, Dustin Liver and Ella Grace & Serenity Fulton.

He was also preceded in death by his mother Pansy Ritchie Barnett, his step-father Henry Barnett, a wife Virginia Ritchie, a son, Jeff Ritchie a sister, Jesse Barnett and a brother Bobby Barnett.

Memorial services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at Carlisle Christian Church by Rev. Steve Smith. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the time of service at the church.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Carlisle Christian Church or Hospice of the Bluegrass.
