Oliver Cleveland Smart, 68, of Orlando, Florida, formerly of Carlisle Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 27, 2010.

He grew up in Carlisle, Kentucky, graduated from Carlisle City School in 1959 being very active in sports. After High School he moved to Lexington, Kentucky. He began his career with First National Bank as well as attending Tech and Banking Schools. In 1969 he moved to Orlando, Florida to advance his banking career. After banking he went into automobile sales where he remained until his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Ursula Smart, his daughter, Becky Bichard (Mike), two sons, Steve Smart (Jackie) and Jerry Smart (Linda), a step-son, Marc O'Connor (Barbara), two brothers, Bob Smart and Richard Smart (Rita), a sister Linda Linville (Jerry), ten grandchildren and many other family members. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Ruby Smart, his brother George Smart, Jr., his sister Charlotte Perdue and his first wife Peggy Dunaway Smart.

A memorial service will be held Saturday May 15 in the Carlisle Cemetery by Rev. Julian Hammonds.

Inurnment wll be in Carlisle Cemetery.
