Ralph Edward "Ed" Wiget, 58, of North Middletown Rd., Paris, husband of Cathy Snapp Wiget died at 6:24 A.M. Sunday, October 12, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.

He was born Feburary 19, 1950 in Wilmington, Ohio to the late Fred & Wanda Burden Wiget, was the maintenance manager of Hunterton Farms and was a true fan of the Cincinnati Reds.

Other survivors include 4 daughters, Kelly Gregory, Ohio, Julie (Johnny, Jr.,) Scott, Lisa (David) Peck, Carlisle & Ashley Herrington, Georgetown, a son Eddie Dean Wiget, Maysville, 4 brothers, Rodger, Richard, Tim & Mark Wiget, Ohio, 3 sisters, Sherry Fencetamacher & Brenda Henson, Ohio & Helen Cronin, Carlifornia, 6 grandsons, Michael, Dustin & Trevor Scott, Dylan & Zach Peck and Tyler Gregory along with several other family members and special friends.

He was also preceded in death by a brother Raymond Wiget and a sister Jackie Wiget.

Services will be 2:30 P.M. Wednesday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. James Gaunce. Burial will follow in Millersburg Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Tuesday.
