Robert Edward Anderson, 90, widower of Elsie Dampier Anderson died Wednesday September 6, 2006 at Johnson-Mathers Nursing Home.

He was born September 26, 1915 in Nicholas Co. to the late Robert E. & Mollie Parsons Anderson, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, was a retired employee of the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington and was a member of Carlisle Christian Church.

Survivors include 2 sons, Bobby G. (Linda) Anderson, Frankfort & Larry T. (Pamela) Anderson, Florence, 3 grandsons, Marc E. (Lisa) Anderson, Morrow, OH, Cliff G. (Nicole) Anderson, Quincy, MA, & Chad Anderson, Union, 3 granddaughters, Alisa A. Smith, Valrico, FL, Keeli (Quentine) Stone, Lexington & Kristi G. Anderson, Frankfort and nine great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by 2 brothers Gaylord & Hanson Anderson and a sister Gertrude Earle.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. Steve Smith. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 8:00 A.M. Saturday.
