Robert Daniel Herrington, Sr., 77, widower of Wilma Jean Jacobs Herrington, died Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Harrison Memorial Hosptial.

He was born April 8, 1931 in Mason Co. to the late Jessie James & Lula Dotson Herrington, was a retired concrete contractor, a former member of the Ky. Army National Guard and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include 2 sons, Bobby (Kathy) Herrington, Carlisle, Joseph Lee (Vickie) Herrington, Paris, 3 daughters Betty Jean (Tom) King, Terre Haute, Indiana, Kathy Louise (Charlie Shumate) Herrington, Bethel, Ohio & Patricia Ann Rigdon, Maysville, his step-mother, Daisy Marie Herrington. Paris, a brother, Billy (Frances) Herrington, Carlisle, a sister, Margaret Lesater, Clinton, Arkansas, 3 half-sisters, Marie (Charles) Denton, Carlisle, Becky (Richard) Jolly, North Middletown & Charlotte Pressler, Carlisle, a special-friend, Bertha Baker, Carlisle, 17 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and a great great-granddaughter.

He was also preceded in death by a son Ricky Clay Herrington.

Services will be 10:00 A.M. Saturday at Mathers-Gaunce F.H. by Rev. Mike Hughes. Burial will follow in Carlisle Cemetery.

Visitation will be after 5:00 P.M. Friday.
